WHY DOESN'T THE EARTH FALL TOWARDS THE SUN?

"The inability of the human mind; not the mind, but heart with the brightest rays of religion can penetrate the darkest corners of the Universe."

That’s why there is no way to test intersection between general relativity and quantum theory through laboratory experiments.

If the Sun has gravity, why doesn’t the Earth fall into the Sun or the Moon fall into the Earth?

Explanation Using Newton’s Gravity

The Earth received energy in the form of radiation from the Sun. For the Earth to remain in balance the energy coming into and leaving the Earth must equal. See on figure below.

Energy in = Energy out, the result is balance. This is as an evidence empty space is not vacuum, but full of energy.

According to present-day understanding of what is called the vacuum state or the quantum vacuum, it is “by no means a simple empty space”. According to quantum mechanics, the vacuum state is not truly empty but instead contains fleeting electromagnetic waves and particles that pop into and out of existence. (wikipedia)

We can explain it in another ways, that medium between the Sun and Earth perform a resistance, that’s why the Earth doesn’t fall to the Sun and burn up, but it cause the force of sideways that works on the medium.

Imagine fishing at the sea

The existing of the force of sideways explains how the Earth orbits around the Sun, and why didn’t the Earth just fall to the Sun.

Fishing on a boat, when a fish feels the hook, it struggles to get free. This might swimming back against the line or swimming around obstacles. A large fish pull harder, and can be more challenging to reel in. Sea water performs obstacles; it causes a right or left movement of fish. The movement of fish to the left or right is a kind of the force of sideways that works on the medium (sea water).

When the fish has been successfully pulled to ship deck, it’s more easily to lift the fish. That is because air medium are looser than sea water.

This is the same as if you have a weight on the end of a string and swing it around. You are constantly pulling it toward you, but the motion sideways keeps it swinging around. Like the string, the Sun’s gravity pulls on the planets, but the planets have enough sideways motion to keep them in their orbits.

The Sun is more than 300,000 times heavier than Earth, distance of the Earth to Sun is about 1.50 x ¹⁰¹¹ m, and the force of attraction between the Sun and Earth is about F = 3.52 x ¹⁰²² N.

Isaac Newton said: “I deduced that the forces which keep the planets in their orbs must be reciprocally as the squares of their distances from the centres about which they revolve, and thereby compared the force requisite to keep the moon in her orb with the force of gravity at the surface of the earth and found them to answer pretty nearly.”

Explanation using Einstein’s gravity.

The most popular example in describing Einstein’s gravity is to use a rubber sheet as it shows on Youtube and on many of Websites. Einstein’s gravity contains nothing about force. It describes the behaviour of objects in a gravitational field not in terms of ‘ attraction ‘ but simply in terms of the paths they follow. To Einstein, gravitation is simple part of inertia; the movement of the stars and the planets arise from their inherent inertia; and the courses they follow are determined by the metric properties of space or a warping of spacetime.

Maybe you know a rubber sheet warped by a heavy stone is an excellent analogy. A rubber sheet as seen on the figure below illustrated a warping of spacetime.

Put and push a ball on the rubber sheet, then the ball will move around the hole. But, within 2–3 seconds the ball will go into the hole. Of course, a ball unable to move again.

Teaching using a rubber sheet, actually, is misleading. It should be explained that the ball will continue to move circular around a hole -a warping spacetime-because the ball has an orbital velocity. It means, there is a force. Einstein said, the movement of the stars and the planets arise from their inherent inertia.

We know that inertia is one of the primary manifestations of mass, which is a quantitative property of physical systems. Isaac Newton defined inertia as his first law in his PhilosophiƦ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, which states:

The vis insita, or innate force of matter, is a power of resisting by which every body, as much as in it lies, endeavours to preserve its present state, whether it be of rest or of moving uniformly forward in a straight line.

Therefore, Einstein’s idea ‘gravity is nothing about force’ is inconsistent, and in fact, Einstein’s theory is very dependent on Newton’s theory. Can not be avoided that Einstein’s theories make modern physics full of incompatibilities. All natural phenomena that is claimed as proof of Einstein’s theory, actually, can be explained without Einstein’s theory. We will find many inconsistent cases in Einstein’s theory, or to be more precisely: Logical fallacies.
I think that all students should get a rudimentary education in logical fallacies, and cognitive and social biases, as well as means to prevent them.( Sabine Hossenfelder)
Medium between the Sun and Planets

The Earth doesn’t fall into the Sun or the Moon doesn’t fall into the Earth, it’s because the existing a medium between them, and arising the force of sideways that causes by gravity. We can not detect the existence of the medium, it does not mean the medium does not exist.

Triangle of Energy as the basic concepts of nonspeculative cosmology

The problem with telescopes on Earth and Space Telescope is, that light being received has to pass through our atmosphere. Moreover, we know that Hubble space telescope and the other space telescopes is not a pure of space telescope; but a “thermosphere telescope”. For example, Hubble space telescope orbits at altitude 600 Km above the Earth’s surface. Thermoshere is about 80–640 Km, and above it is Exosphere at 640–9600 Km. Of course, the effects of atmosphere can’t be ignored.
We also know that in the thermosphere and exosphere light can be scattered by atoms and molecules. The atmosphere can blocks certain kinds of light, including X-rays, ultraviolet and infrared light. So, whatever sophisticated equipment made by humans, all has its limitations.
Proof that a photo from Hubble space telescope is the same as a photo from a telescope on Earth-exactly the same.

You look at the Sun during the day, and the Sun moves relative to the Earth, in this case you have observed the Earth orbits around the Sun. This is direct observation. Then you know that orbiting planets cause by gravity, and then you have observed gravity. This is indirect observation.
In the same way we may say that indirect observation has given proof, that there is a medium between the Earth and the Sun.
